CAMS – 4MM CENTRAL HOLE – 4 DESIGNS (Set of 4)

These cams cover a range of profile shapes suited to classroom activities. The shaft hole has a 4 mm diameter and will fit snugly onto a 4 mm wooden dowel. Cams may be drilled to fit other shaft sizes or alternatively by inserting a plastic bush, a smaller 3.00 mm shaft diameter may be fitted. Each internal hole size of these cams fits our micro-plastic bush 28BUMI50 and this enable the cams to be directly fitted to any 2mm diameter motor shaft. Cams are interestingly used in creating toys, puppets and robots where moving parts and eccentric movements are desired. Note that a hole through the cam that is not on its true centre will enable eccentric movement to take place. When rotated the cams outer diameter will move in such a manner that a cam follower can be made to rise up and down in a novel manner. Pack includes 4 sets of cams. Each set includes 4 profile shapes.
