By Terry Taylor. Use grey or coloured pencils, watercolour, acrylic paints, oil or dry pastels, charcoal or conte pencils and slow down looking carefully at the lines. Challenge yourself by drawing freehand on paper either larger or smaller than the original. Or if it is too hard, fold the page in half and draw only small sections at a time. Match the background by shading and experimenting with colour and texture or get lost in the overlay of lines and tones.
